The BIM methodology has triggered an important need to implement digital platforms that are not exclusively tied to digital models, but, more broadly, connect project stakeholders, technologies involved and management processes. Therefore, it is necessary to build a solution that centralizes the necessary information throughout the entire construction process involving all the agents involved.

The Building Cluster's Digital Platform for the Management of Industrialized Components in Construction project will develop a collaborative digital platform, DiGIN, integrating all the agents of the construction value chain and allowing to manage the connection of the industrial processes with the BIM methodology through a user-friendly software that allows the traceability of the information.

The main challenges of this project will be the standardization of the information between the different agents involved, as well as the integration of the platform in the multiple, and very diverse, tools used throughout the construction process.
