Juneyao Group Co. visits hiberus

We had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from the Chinese business conglomerate Juneyao Group Co. to our offices in Zaragoza. During the working session, we explored potential synergies and opportunities for collaboration between both companies.

Headquartered in Shanghai, Juneyao Group Co. is a diversified conglomerate with a strong presence in key sectors such as aviation—through Juneyao Airlines and its low-cost carrier 9 Air—and the automotive industry. In this latter area, the group recently began its entry into the electric vehicle (EV) market, creating a new company in 2022 focused on EV development, commercialization, and supporting infrastructure, with an initial investment of 1 billion yuan.

During the visit, we had the opportunity to share knowledge, experiences, and future visions. The discussion focused especially on the development of electric commercial vehicles and how, at hiberus, we can bring value to this strategic sector thanks to our technological solutions and expertise in digital transformation.

This meeting was made possible thanks to the collaboration of Luis Rubio, CEO of TDG IBERNAVITAS S.A., and Santiago Rubio, CEO of ZITYCARD, who played a key role as a bridge between the two organizations. The first connections were established during the visit of our International CEO, Marcos Latorre, to China earlier this year, which ultimately led to making this visit a reality.

The Juneyao Group delegation was led by Mr. GAO Binghua, Executive President of the group, and Mr. PEI Wei, CEO of Wuxi Commercial Building Group Dongfang Automobile Co., Ltd., accompanied by other key members of their executive team. From hiberus and the HENNEO group, several of our strategy, business, and international development leaders also took part.

In addition, our guests later joined us at our annual corporate event, the Summer Fest, where we continued exchanging ideas in a more relaxed setting and further strengthened the bonds formed throughout the day.
