Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) is the set of techniques carried out to improve the performance of a digital ecosystem. In other words, it is a process that aims to increase the profitability of a digital project by improving key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rate, number of transactions, or average order value without increasing the resources used.

 

The objective of CRO is not to get more visits to a website, but to ensure that the visits are of quality and, therefore, more profitable for the company. Therefore, it focuses on maximizing the number of conversions without the need for an increase in the number of visitors.
